Despite the heating being up to full tilt the cocentration was intense.

Other news from the AGM. 2011 has been a good year fo the Oxford Section membership is higher than in the past two years, finances are good and we have a good programme of events, the Austrian trip next year is fully booked. Wendy Ottaway is taking over from John Hillier as Social Sec., John will remain on the committee. Thanks to John for 10 good years as Social Sec.! Rob Allin suggested some hotel weekend ideas, which were well supported at the meeting, Rob will investigate further.

Just for the record we had a total of 37 members in attendance. It was also good to see some new faces.

As usual, the Oxford Section pulls out all the stops. Increased annual membership, good AGM attendance excellent food, first class committee, well done to all. Only sorry I couldn’t be there this time.
