Classical Greece Tour 2014 Details and Booking!

Greece 2
Dear Members,

We have great pleasure to announce details of the Classical Greece Tour for 2014. The tour is based on the successful MCi tour with adjustment for the BMW Club to reduce costs as this will be a self-guided tour, we will have the benefit of MCi knowledge, experience and hotels for this trip. The Rev. Derek Spears will be our guide for the tour and Derek is also the classical guide for the MCi tour and so we are in good hands.

A lot of planning has gone into working out the best way to reach Greece and we can offer options by road and rail, to connect with the ferry from Ancona in Italy to Igoumenista in Greece. In addition Willem van Zyl is organising a shipping option which will be able to take up to six bikes directly to Delphi. This would allow participants to fly to Greece thus saving time which may be attractive to some members.

Full details of the BMW Club Classical Greece Tour 2014 are contained in the brochure and details of the tour highlights are contained in Derek’s excellent tour notes.

So if you are interested in taking part now is the time for action! We have limited places and to hold the accommodation will require us to make bookings by Monday December 9th. To reserve your place you will need to pay a deposit of £125 per person to The BMW Motor Club Oxford Section. This can be done by sending a cheque to Geoff Clough, 46 Laurel Drive, Southmoor, Abingdon Oxon. OX13 5DJ. if you need the bank account details for an electronic transfer please contact Geoff at [email protected]. Also please confirm your plans by sending an email to [email protected].

If you are interested in rail travel please send an email to Rob Allin ([email protected]) so we can send you more information. If you are interested in getting your bike shipped to Greece and flying then please email Willem van Zyl ([email protected]) to discuss your requirements.

If you have any general questions then please send an email to [email protected] and we will try and get you the answers you need. the brochure and the tour notes are a good source of information.
