At our regular Sunday Uffington meeting on 9th February we were delighted to have a presentation by Shaun Napier of Bahnstormer on the new BMW R1300GSA. Shaun also rode to Uffington on a fantastic R1300GSA Karakoram Option 719 model with Automatic Shift Assist. 

Shaun gave an excellent talk with discussion about the advantages and limitations of the new R1300GSA (Shaun is a R1250GSA owner). In summary the new bike is a big step forward with a lot of new technology in particular the suspension and the Automatic Shift Assist (Shaun would love to have one by the way!). The event gave members a chance to see the new bikes, ask questions, and to discuss the features amongst fellow BMW owners which was useful.

The event was a success and we may try and do more like this for BMW Club members, perhaps when the new BMW R1300RT appears, watch this space. Thank you again to Bahnstormer and Shaun for giving up his time to come and speak to fellow motorcyclists on Sunday it is much appreciated.
