The Cafe will re-open for seated dining on Saturday 4th July.

Reservations only – please call us to book a table: 01280 705400 ext. 3. You need to speak to a member of staff, please don’t leave a message or send emails or FB messages for reservations.

The toilets on the ground floor are open. The toilets on the Cafe floor are closed to visitors.

Unless you are physically unable to do so please use the stairs not the lift.

All seated dining will be table service.

On arrival please wait just inside the Cafe entrance until someone can show you to your table. Menus will be brought to the table.

Please keep your mask on while ordering and anytime you leave the table.

Follow the one-way system marked on the floor.

Once seated please remain at your table except to visit the toilet, pay your bill or leave.

Children must be supervised at all times and may not run around or leave the table without you.

Wait staff will take your order and bring food and drinks to the table.

When you are ready we will bring the bill and you can pay with cash or use the PDQ terminal at the counter.

Tables have been arranged in accordance with Government guidelines. Please leave them in place.

Chairs have also been placed so that visitors are side to side or back to back with other tables – please leave them in position.

Tables, chairs and multi-use condiment holders will be cleaned between customers.

Food preparation and service items are sterilised in dishwashers.

Due to decreased capacity in the Cafe we ask that time at the table is limited to 2 hours so other guests have the opportunity to visit.

If you have any symptoms of Covid 19 please cancel your booking.

If you develop symptoms of Covid 19 within 21 days of visiting please contact us.

The full Government guidelines are here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/restaurants-offering-takeaway-or-delivery

It will take time for us all to adjust to the new way of working. Your patience and understanding while we adapt will be greatly appreciated.

Having said all that we can’t wait to see you with a big Flight Deck welcome!

Welcome to the Flight Deck Café!

Our food is freshly made to order using quality ingredients which we source locally where possible. There are daily specials, beautiful fresh salads in the summer, hearty soups in the winter and an abundance of homemade cakes throughout the year.

The Café is on the first floor of the Tower building and has a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and runway.

Safety: The safety or all our visitors – whether flying, walking, driving or cycling – is paramount. Please stick to the marked roadways and car parks and note that access to ALL other areas, including the pretty grass area around the lake, is restricted to authorised personnel.

Smoking: We do not allow smoking or vaping anywhere on our premises including on the decks and around the outside of the building. Smoking is permitted on the concrete area adjacent to the solar farm.
