On the 1st of December it was the Reading Toy Run, for me the toy run is beginning of Christmas. At home the tree was down from the loft, the reindeer had been placed on the porch, all to be dressed or lit up on return from the toy run.

The toy run started from a different place this year, the Thames Valley Science Park, every type of motorcyclist and scooterist was there. There were more Santas than you could count , people dressed as snowmen, motorcycles that had been converted to reindeer. Motorcycles kept arriving right up to departure time at 1.00, a total of 1600 bikes. We set off from Shinfield to the High Close School(DrBarnardos) in Wokingham, the public line the route to see the procession pass by.

At the home you queue up to hand your present in, the room is absolutely stacked with the delivered presents. After delivering the presents it is on to lawn for teas and coffees.
