Dear Members you will certainly have heard by now of the tragic death of Steve Wicks on May 1st which has is a great loss to the Oxford Section. Steve was a good friend to many members and contributed a great deal to the running of the BMW Club. Many of you will have seen Steve’s new RT on the front cover of the May Journal and the 2014 RT test inside.

The family has asked that we should collect for the Oxford Heart Centre, if any members wish to donate to charity in Steve’s memory. To make this easy we have setup a page with Just Giving – Remembering Steve Wicks you can access the page from this link:

You can also leave messages and memories of Steve on the Just Giving page, which will collect as a ‘book of condolences’ and we hope this will also be a great comfort to his family at this time. All of the funds collected will go to the Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital and if members are tax payers then they can gift aid their donations to increase the value.We hope to see many of you at Steve’s Funeral on Friday at Friday in Thatcham at the West Berkshire Crematorium, Bath Rd., Thatcham. RG18 3AG. The Service starts at 12:45 on Friday 16th May 2014 and will be followed by refreshments at the Berkshire arms, nearby.
