David Robb leaves BMW Motorrad

It has now been confirmed that David Robb, head of motorcycle design has left BMW Motorrad. David Robb has been responsible for every BMW design since the R1150RT and is credited with moving the company away from a focus only on touring (on road and off road) bikes. His last design was the K1600GT – so big changes ahead!

  1. He should have designed the K1600 as a V8…………then he’d still be there.

    I’d have definitely bought one just for the sound from the exhaust.
