The Old Shed

What is It?

“The Old Shed sits nestled in the heart of our well established family run enterprise. Once a neglected Old Shed we needed somewhere to bring together all of our guests, to reach out to our community and beyond. Somewhere where you are all most welcome. Keen to use the best products and craftsmanship we employed local craftsmen to use locally sourced materials to create an atmosphere and ambience which combines a comfortable mixture of styles: rustic with sumptuousness, modern and clean, homely yet vibrant. Our core value of quality permeates throughout our food and our service.” So it says on their web page.

Why would we go there?

I had been told about The Old Shed and made a mental note to pop in, if I was ever up that way. The opportunity came along, late last year, and I wasn’t disappointed. The coffee, tea and cakes are great and food menu includes most of the usual things, with chips as well as Baguettes, Panini’s, soups and loads of other things on the day.

Although it’s not a biker orientated café the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Where is it?

There are some great rides, in the surrounding area. It can easily be included as a final destination in many of the most popular published rides.

The Old Shed can be found at Banbury Hill Farm, Enstone Road, Charlbury, OX7 3JH

There’s plenty of room to park.

If you’re paying I’ll take you there!
