For those, who may be interested, the picture shows the troublesome BMW fuel guage strip sensor from a R1200RT. It’s shown without its protective plastic cover and simply dangles in the fuel. BMW have have gone back to a float arrangement, apparently. Not much of a consolation, to me, as it cost £88 for the part.
