Once again the Oxford section manned the Carterton Control for the National Rally over the W/E. With fantastic weather and a great crew of section members manning the desk, time flew by and there were lots of genuine “thank you’s” from the 194 participants that checked through our control including 2 German riders that had travelled across to England just to ride the event. We even received a certificate of thanks from one team of riders, a much appreciated and thoughful gesture. Geoff Steele managed to squeeze a good few contributions out of thirsty riders in respect of “Help for Heros”. Many thanks to all who helped and for your diary, next years event is on the W/E of 5/6th July 2014
