Barbecue Event Information

MENU

1. Quality quarter pounder burger with salsa/gherkin/onion/lettuce/ tomato and a half cob of sweet corn, including 1x salmon, plus 1x chicken, plus 1x pork fillet kebab on a savory rice base with coleslaw.

2. There will be a gluten free option on the burger bread and a plant based quarter pounder burger for vegetarians.

3. There will be dairy free mayonnaise for the coleslaw.

4. A vegetarian option of the kebabs which includes plant based substitute kebabs including roast peppers and mushrooms.

5. There will be mayonnaise/ketchup/BBQ sauce and water on each table.

6. Note: Should anyone have a particular dietary need please forward your full name and contact details to me by email to: zenonkrafft@gmail.com so that I can pass this on to Angela at Enstone who will contact you directly before the event.

DESSERTS

1. A slice of absolute chocolate tart and a slice of lemon tart which complement each other rather well, including strawberries (or other fresh fruit that is available at the time)with cream for sheer decadence!!

2. The Celiac alternative dessert is a Vegan lemon cheesecake and a chocolate roulade (both contain nuts).

DRINKS

1. Tea and standard coffee/soft drinks (coke/coke zero/Diet coke/Lemonade/Rio/GingerBeer) are all £1.50 each. Cappuccino type drinks are £2.50 each. Bottled water still or sparkling £1.50 each.

2. Please Note: All drinks to be paid for by the members direct to Enstone Flying Club on the day.

As an added bonus there will be Aircraft Hangar Tours conducted every hour, Courtesy of Enstone Flying Club. Also the piece de resistance (for all you Top Gun wannabes) is a Spitfire Simulator (pre-book to ensure your place), or pay on the day should space become available.

The Club House has toilet facilities including a disabled toilet.

PARKING

There is plenty of hard standing for your motorcycle close to the BBQ area. Should we be unfortunate to encounter any unfavorable weather we will be able to use the hanger so our day will not be interrupted!!

PETS

Please note as this is a fully operational Airfield any pets which may attend this event must be on leads at all times without exception and any subsequent “mess” must be cleared up immediately by the owner.

CHILDREN

Please make sure if any children are attending this event they must be fully supervised at all times.

This will be a great opportunity for our members to catch up with friends and colleagues who haven’t seen each other for some time. We have some wonderful events planned for 2022 so come along and find out more in person. Your hosts for the day, Angela and Paul, are looking
